A/N: Just a short oneshot and some fluff.:] Everyone has a weakness, even the Fearless Leader of the Hamato Clan. Never fear squeamish readers, no graphic descriptions here.  Enjoy!
---
He wasn’t sure what had brought on the sudden pains. It still didn’t change the fact that he was currently stuck in the med room while training went on without him. He moaned softly as his stomach protested again and curled tighter into himself.

During the “names” section of training, Splinter would call out a cadence of katas and the brothers were expected to perform each in the correct order called. Leo's stomach had already been feeling upset before the sequence was called, and when the cramps kicked in barely halfway through he’d had to stop for fear he’d be sick on the spot.

He was actually starting to feel nauseated again, even though he hadn’t eaten for hours. Overall it was just general feeling of heaviness and discomfort he found himself in and he wanted nothing more than to get rid of it.

“How’re you feeling Leo?” Donatello’s head popped in.

“About the same,” the turtle replied, grimacing slightly.

“Are you feeling sick to your stomach?” Donatello felt his forehead worriedly, “You’re warm, but I seriously doubt you have a fever.”

“Just a little. I don’t know why this is so intense.” he winced as another cramp gripped him.

“What have you eaten in the last twelve hours?”

Leo thought hard and suddenly the answer came to him, “I had chocolate yesterday,” he moaned in realization.

For the past few years Leonardo had been the cleanest eater of the brothers by far. He rarely indulged in processed foods or sweets. But yesterday had been so tempting. The heater had broken down in the lair and it took several hours for Donatello to get it running again. In those hours, the lair had dropped twenty degrees and Michelangelo had made his famous hot chocolate. Leo had consumed it in the past, but clearly this winter his body was determined to punish him for the small slip.

“Just the one mug?” Donatello was reluctant to believe it.

Leonardo nodded painfully, “I guess I can’t handle even that.”

“No kidding. Well since you had it yesterday chances are you won’t be sick. I’m not sure painkillers would be the best bet for you at the moment. Can you handle tea?”

“I’ll have to.” Leo laughed and winced again, “This is so embarrassing.”

“Our Fearless Leader, Leonardo Hamato, brought to his knees by a mug of hot chocolate? You bet,” Donatello grinned, but he squeezed his brother’s shoulder sympathetically.

“Thanks.”

“You know we probably have to let the others know,”

“Honestly I’d rather they thought I was being stuck-up.” He decided sitting up was too much effort and settled back against the pillows, “Besides, I don’t want Mike to feel bad.”

“He can handle it,” Donatello affirmed, “And it’s really not his fault when you get down to it.”

“What’s my fault?” Michelangelo piped up from the door. “Are you feeling better Leo? You looked ready to hurl when you left practice-”

Ignoring Leo’s pleading gaze, Donatello started, “You know how Leo doesn’t really eat sweets anymore?”

“Yeah, it’s totally weird bro,” Michelangelo shook his head, “No offense man.”

“Well his body is so used to natural products that-”

“Oh you’re talking about the hot chocolate yesterday?” Michelangelo leapt to the right conclusion at once.

“Uh- yeah.” Donatello exchanged an equally flabbergasted look with Leonardo, “How did-”

“Like you said- he doesn’t eat sweets anymore,” Mikey shrugged. “I know I feel gross when I eat stuff I’m not used to. I figured he knew what he was getting into. So it was the chocolate?”

“Yeah it’s really stupid,” Leo grimaced.

“But dude-” he paused, “That was like yesterday afternoon, you’re still feeling sick?”

“It’s like poison in his system Mikey,” Donatello explained, “His body is figuring out how to deal with it.”

“That helped Don, seriously.” Leo groaned as his stomach twisted.

Donatello quickly took the hint, “All right I’ll be back in a few with the tea.”

Leonardo rolled onto his other side, sighing briefly as the pain abated.

“Well that settles it, I’m never making you anything again,” Mikey pouted, looking offended.

“Mike I’m sorry I-”

“I’m not mad Leo, chill out.” Michelangelo smirked, “Just- let a guy know next time before the fact, okay? I can handle it. Besides, sensei will have my head for making you miss practice!” He lingered in the doorframe for a moment, “Feel better soon dude.”

Leo huddled under the blankets again as his brother left. He could deal without cupcakes and desserts- but Michelangelo’s hot chocolate was the best on the East Coast hands down.

Maybe I’ll have half next time, was one of his last coherent thoughts before dropping off to sleep. After all, everyone has their weaknesses.

*shameless self-insert*
I wrote this today suffering from a very similar predicament. I swore never to look at brownies again- but lets be honest. ;] Anyways I ended up projecting the situation on poor Leo and decided it made for an interesting oneshot. Hope you liked it! :]
(Leo: I didn't..... :C
Me: There, there. :pat:)

Also- Chamomile Tea is a Godsend. That is all.
